Levert Bates Jr., 66, died Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2014. Public viewing will be noon-8 p.m. today at Trinity Memorial Funeral Home. The funeral will be noon Saturday at Bible Way Missionary Baptist, with burial in Mt. New Homes Church Cemetery, Leighton. The body will be placed in the church one hour before the service.
