Letty Palmateer Kesting, 90, of Huntsville, passed away Friday. Mrs. Kesting was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence W. Kesting, and a son, Mark Alan Kesting. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, and of the D. A. R. Mrs. Kesting was a teacher of the Bible and a prophet to her family.
Survivors include children, John W. Kesting (Patsy) and David L. Kesting (Laura), all of Huntsville, and Linda K. Caldwell (Ed) of Birmingham; eight grandchildren, and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Monday at Laughlin Service Funeral Home, with the service immediately following in the chapel. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.
