Letsy Rogers Brown – Obituary

Letsy Rogers Brown, 73, died Tuesday, October 25, 2016, at her home. She was born November 28, 1942, to Rogers and Revis Green Clayton. She was a graduate of Itawamba Agricultural High School, Itawamba Junior College, Mississippi State University, and the University of Mississippi, where she received her Master’s degree. She was retired from the Itawamba County School District after teaching thirty years in the Vo-tech Department. She loved her job, and she loved the kids she taught. She was a member of the Fulton United Methodist Church. In her earlier years, she enjoyed going to the beach, and she enjoyed watching NASCAR.

Services will be at 11 a. m. Friday, October 28, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Fulton with Rev. Glyn Wiygul officiating. Burial will be in the Union Grove Cemetery.

Survivors include two sons, Clay Brown (Susie), and Neil Brown, Jr.; two grandchildren, Brittany Brown and Alexia Brown, all of Fulton; and several cousins and other family members.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Danny Clayton; and her parents.

Visitation will be from 9 a. m. until service time on Friday at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home in Fulton.
