Letitia Scoggins, 91, of Memphis, formerly of Ripley, passed away Sunday, September 30, 2023 at Baptist Reynolds Hospice House in Memphis. Visitation will begin at 12 PM Friday in Whitefield Assembly of God with funeral services to follow at 1 PM. Interment will be in Whitefield Cemetery. Garner Funeral Home of Ripley has charge of the services.
Mrs. Scoggins, a retired secretary, was a member of Cathedral of Praise Assembly of God in Cordova.
The widow of George Scoggins, she is survived by a daughter Reginia Wilkes of Eads, a son Michael Scoggins of Memphis, 4 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by sisters Louise Bilby and Flossie Tims and brothers Leonard Connell, Aubrey Connell, Eugene “Happy” Connell, and Delmus Connell.
