Lester Ray Shull, 64, formerly of Hartselle, died peacefully in his sleep, June 15, 2014. He was born September 19, 1949 to Buford M. Shull and Vivian Shull. Ray was retired from Waste Management where he was a diesel mechanic.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ann; his father, Buford M. Shull; and stepfather, Harris H. Hopper.
Survivors include his mother, Vivian Dobbs Hopper of Hartselle; son, James M. Shull of Murfreesboro, TN; daughters, Tiffany Mills of Lithia Springs, GA and Shea Shull of Murfreesboro, TN; sister, Linda Oden; brother, Buford “Buddy” Shull (Alice), all of Hartselle; stepbrother, Allen Hopper (Gay) of Decatur; and three grandchildren.
He was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.
A memorial service will be held in Leanne, TN at a later date.
