Graveside services for Mrs. Lerah Nell Blankenship, 86, are scheduled for Tuesday, November 3, 2015 at Henderson County Memory Gardens. Mrs. Blankenship passed away late Thursday in Jackson. She was born November 19, 1928 in Henderson County to the late John B. and Willie Washburn Thompson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Thomas F. Blankenship and one brother, Ralph Thompson. Survivors include her daughter, Linda Kay Powers of Jackson; one brother, Lanoice Thompson; three grandsons, Shannon Powers, Shane Powers, Shaun Powers (Beth); and two great grandchildren, Lucy Powers.
