LeoardLeonard Doyle Nichols Sr., age 78, of Florence, went home to be with our Lord and reunite with his wife Etta, on Saturday, June 7, 2014, surrounded by his loving family after a battle with cancer and a broken heart after the loss of his precious wife 3 weeks ago. He was a devoted man of God, who loved the Lord and his family with all his heart. He loved fishing and Alabama football, but most of all talking about the Lord.

He was preceded in death by his wife Etta; parents, Edgar Nichols (Alice), Gertrude Thompson, Sam and Etta Barnes; brothers, Larry, Billy, Gary; and son-in-law, J.J. Kwan.
