Leonard Charles Wallace 92, of Tuscumbia, passed away Monday, December 29, 2014. Visitation will be 12:00pm until 2:00pm Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2014 at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral service will be 2:00pm Wednesday at the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Osborn Hill Cemetery. Richard Edmonds will officiate.
He was a veteran having served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He was a member of the Hampton Heights Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife Mary V. Wallace; parents Harris and Lou Wallace; son John W. Dobbs, Jr.; three brothers; three sisters; and sons-in-law, Larry Griffin and Herman Yielding.
Mr. Wallace is survived by his daughters: Gloria Isbell (Larry), Mary Griffin (Earl), Gail Isbell (Richard), Brenda Yielding, Linda Griffin (Doug); 19 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, and 19 great-great grandchildren.
The family would like to extend a special appreciation to the doctors and staff of Helen Keller Hospital third floor PCU.
