Leona Norman Lyons – Obituary

 Leona LyonsLeona Norman Lyons, age 87, of Columbia, passed away on March 3, 2019.

Leona was born August 16, 1932 in Columbia, Tennessee to the late Sam “Happy” and Lena Cummins Norman. She was very loving person who would say “Bless Your Heart” to everyone she met. She was a member of Riverview Baptist Church. She was a waitress all her life and served at Lucille’s Restaurant in Columbia for twenty-six years.

She is survived by son: Keith (Tammy) Lyons; grandson: Hunter Lyons; granddaughter: Samantha Lyons; step-grandson: Asa Aldridge; great-granddaughter: Presley Stewmon; brothers: Floyd (Carolyn) and Bobby (Minnie) Norman. She was preceded in death by brothers: Curly (Virginia), Roy (Martha), R. L., Gene (Ann), James Hubert and Howard Norman; sisters: Dot Norman, Pauline (Dan) Pope, and Linda Hendrix; and daughter; Wanda Adams.

Services will be Thursday, March 7, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Williams Funeral Home, Columbia. Family will visit with friends on Wednesday, March 6, 2019 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
