Leon Estes, age 97 of Jasper, passed away on Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at his residence.
The family will receive friends on Friday, November 13, 2020 at 12:00 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home, funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel. Burial will be at Walker Memory Gardens. Jerry Boyd will officiate.
Mr. Estes was preceded in death by his Father-Charlie Estes; Mother-Mae Estes; Wife-Lovie Estes; Brothers-James Carson, Edward Estes, Ralph Estes; Sisters-Ruth Hill, Susie Beard, Francella Hall; Grandsons-Derek Alexander, Rodney Lindsey, Joey Lindsey; Granddaughter-Lori Wright.
He is survived by his Daughters-Sandra Lawson, Sarah Montgomery, Gail Martin (Scott), Deborah Ellis (Roger), Kim Holbrook; Sons-Leon Estes (Scarlett), Chuck Estes, Charlie Estes (Delane); Sister-Peggy Knapp; 20 Grandchildren; 33 Great Grandchildren; 13 Great-Great Grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Matt Estes, Nathan Alexander, Keith Lawson, Steven Madison, Chad Burkett, Brandon Lawson.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Chase Herald, Eric Estes, Dustin Lindsey, Tyler Lawson.
