Funeral services for Leon Burcham, 85 of Corinth are set for 2pm on Wednesday, August 27, 2025 at Magnolia Funeral Home – East Chapel with interment in Vanderford Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 27, 2025 from 12pm-2pm at Magnolia Funeral Home – East Chapel. Bro. Keith Burcham and Bro. Darren Howell will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Thelton Vanderford, Brent Vanderford, Michael Holmes, Gary Bishop, Glen Mynatt and Brendix Glasgo. Born November 2, 1939 in Rienzi, MS., Mr. Burcham passed away on Saturday, August 23 at his home. He was a retired crew chief for the MS Forestry with 37 1/2 years of service. Leon loved his family and spending time with them especially his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed fishing and gardening. Leon was one of the original musicians for Corinth Picking on the Square, he loved playing Blue Grass music and the banjo. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather that would help anyone in need. Leon is survived by his wife of 65 years, Clydean Burcham; son, Terry Burcham; daughter, Tammy Rickett; 2 grandchildren, Taylor Wooley (Terry) and Caden Burcham; brother, Bobby Burcham (Peggy); other relatives and a host of friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Terry Burcham; mother, Addie Burcham; brothers, Lester Burcham (Idoma) and Ray Burcham and his sister, Marie Hayes (George).
