Leon Brown, Jr, age 81 of Jasper, passed away on Saturday, July 11, 2026 at VA Medical Center in Birmingham.
He was born on May 14, 1945. Leon was a Veteran of the US Navy and an active member of Harvest Freewill Baptist Church. He will be missed by all that knew and loved him.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 16, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home, funeral services will follow at 12:00 p.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery. Junior Garmon will officiate.
Mr. Brown was preceded in death by his Wife-Patricia Brown; Mother-Frances Brown; Father-Leon Brown, Sr. and Brother-Lee Brown.
He is survived by his Daughter-Vickie Reid (Shannon); Son-Ricky Brown; Granddaughter-Kourtney Jent (James); Grandson-Kory Reid; Great grandchildren-Hunter Smith (Addie), Emma Smith and Brooklynn Jent; Favorite nieces-Misty Morris (Jason) and Christy Fowler (Matt).
