Funeral services for Leon Ballard, 77, of Hanceville, Alabama will be 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Fairview West Cemetery. Reverend Tim Barnett will officiate. Visitation will be at Hanceville Funeral Home from 5:30 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, April 6, 2021.
Mr. Ballard was born on January 28, 1944 in Hanceville and died at his residence in Hanceville on April 4, 2021.
Survivors include his wife, Martha Ann Ballard; daughter, Kathy (Jason) Cone; grandchildren, Ashley (Matthew) Knight and Christopher (Holli) Mattox; great grandchild, Bentley Knight; brother, Donald Ballard; and sister, Christine Mayhall.
Mr. Ballard was preceded in death by his parents, Lonis and Vera Louise (Melton) Ballard; sisters, Frances Baker and Dean Sterling; and a brother, John Ballard.
