A message from the Fullwood family:
Dear Family and Friends,
As many of you are aware, Leon Austin Fullwood began his homegoing journey on August 20, 2021. Our father was a kind, loving, brilliant man who lived his life with honor and integrity. His devotion and dedication to his wife, family, friends, God, and country defined him. He lived a life of humble service. He could relate to people from all walks of life and taught his children the value of hard work, perseverance, and compassion.
Our father rarely asked for anything. He never wanted to inconvenience anyone, but he did have a lifelong desire to rest eternally at Arlington National Memorial where he could join other patriots who served our country proudly and with valor.
We would like to invite you to join us in honoring Leon Austin Fullwood on Thursday, December 9, 2021 at Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, Virginia. The service is scheduled for 11:00AM (Eastern).
We realize that travel may be difficult for many of you during this uncertain time. If your attendance is not possible, we truly understand.
We sincerely thank you for all of your calls, cards, and good wishes. Please continue to keep our family in your prayers as we look back on the many blessed years we were lucky enough to share with our beloved husband, father, brother, son, uncle, and friend.
