Leolar Burcham Carter 91, of Tuscumbia passed away Tuesday November 3, 2015. Visitation will be 6:00pm until 8:00pm Thursday, Nov. 5, 2015 at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral service will be 11:00am Friday Nov. 6, 2015 at the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Tuscumbia Oakwood Cemetery. Bro. Darrell Pace and Bro. Roger Bond will officiate.
She was a native of Colbert Co., AL and a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by: her husband of 70 years Willard Carter; her parents General and Dessie Burcham; and her brothers Luther, Raymond, Roy and Ray Burcham.
Survivors are her daughter Kathy Allen; granddaughter Lisa Borden (Micah); her grandson Patrick Allen; great-granddaughters Katelyn and Claire Borden; sisters-in-law Madge Burcham and Barbara Burcham and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Pallbearers will be Patrick Allen, Micah Borden, Kevin Henrickson, Tifford Borden, Sam McClure, and Tony Logan.
Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Taylor and Tim Milam.
