Leola Elizabeth Lester, 85, a native of St. Joseph, Tennessee and a resident of Lauderdale County, passed away June 3, 2013 at ECM Hospital after an extended illness. She was a member of Eastwood Church of Christ, and retired from Sears Department Store after 35 years of service in sales.
Visitation will be Wednesday, June 5, 2013 from 6-9 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Thursday, June 6, 2013 at 11 a.m. in Greenview Memorial Chapel with Joshua Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Lester was preceded in death by her husband, Homer Givens Lester; parents, Robert and Lottie Clemmons; brother, Jimmy Clemmons; sister, Juanita Cox.
She is survived by her daughter, Pamela Lester Davis; sister, Frankie Pounders; grandchild, Joshua Bradley Davis (Danielle Leigh Thompson); great grandchildren, Joshua Daniel and Jeremiah Gabriel Davis.
Pallbearers will be Charles Glover, Larry Boyd, Mitch Clemmons, Bill Batson, Joe Covey, and Robert Batson.
