Leo Virgil Sides, age 86 of Jasper, passed away on Sunday, August 18, 2024 at his residence.
The family will receive friends on Friday, August 23, 2024 at 12:00 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home, funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel. Burial will be at Mt. Herman Cemetery. Dennis Tidwell will officiate.
Mr. Sides was preceded in death by his Mother-Lucille Sides; Father-V.N. Sides; Spouse-Dorothy Sides; Sister-in-law-Jean Sides; Brother-in-law-James Bell (Peggy); Nephew-John Sides.
He is survived by his Daughter-Vickie Lynn (Sides) Potter (Brian) of Soddy Daisy, TN; Brother-Wayne N. Sides; Grandchildren-Erica Hutton (Kyle) and McKenzie Potter (Katie); Great Grandchild to be born on October 25, 2024-Kade McKenzie Potter.
Pallbearers will be Jace Sides, Chris Sides, TD Baker, McKenzie Potter, Kyle Hutton, Jason Nelson, Brandon Glover and Keith Windham.
