Lenore Barclay Lockard, 52, of Skyline, passed away peacefully on March 6, 2025. Born on August 6, 1972, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth “Rooster” Barclay and Betty Rose Hurt Barclay.
Lenore married the love of her life, Greg Lockard, on April 22, 1995, and together they built a life filled with love, laughter, and devotion to their family. She was a loving wife, mother, and friend. Her greatest joy in life was her three sons, Collin Lockard (Kat Fisher), Conner Lockard, and Colton Lockard (Hannahstaysia Weaver). Her boys were her pride and joy, and she poured her heart into raising them with love, strength, and unwavering support.
Lenore is survived by her husband, Greg, father and mother-in-law, Larry and Ruby Nell Lockard; her uncles and aunts, Tommy Hurt, David and Carolyn Hurt; and her cousins, Clay Barclay (Kendra), Stephen and Emily Sloan Hurt, and Parker and Shannon Hurt. She will be remembered for her fierce love for her family and the warmth she brought to everyone around her. Lenore touched the lives of so many, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories.
A service to celebrate her life will be held at Scottsboro Funeral Home with visitation on Monday, March 10, 2025, at 12:00 pm and funeral services at 2:00 pm. Burial to follow at Prince Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Collin, Conner, Colton, Richard, Clay, Tanner, and Parker.
Lenore’s love will be remembered by those she cared about, and her memory will be cherished by all who knew her.
