Funeral service for Lenora Yarbrough, 94, will be Sunday, August 31, 2025 at 4:30 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with her Grandson – Nick Tankersley officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Hartselle City Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, August 31, 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM at Peck Funeral Home.
Mrs. Yarbrough died on Thursday, August 28, 2025 at her residence. She was born August 4, 1931, in Blount County, to William Elbert Lumsden and Virgie Ruth Collins Lumsden.
She was a member of the Southwest Baptist Church and was an active member of the Hartselle Senior Center. She enjoyed playing cards and sewing and was an Alabama fan. She loved the outdoors and loved her family, especially her grandchildren.
Lenora and her husband, Bob, built and owned the Corral Restaurant. She was the Secretary to the Vice President at Standard Oil Company in Birmingham. She also was a Secretary for Chemstrand (Monsanto), and was an Advertisement Agent for the Hartselle Enquirer, prior to her retirement.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Robert “Bob” Yarbrough, her parents, two daughters- Cindy Yarbrough Dean Holladay, and Pamela Yarbrough Graham, and two sisters- Sue Lumsden Bailey and Barbara Lumsden Schonebaum.

Daughter – Jenny Yarbrough Tankersley (Dwight), Hartselle, AL,
Six Grandchildren –

Marcus Dean (Darcie),

Brooke Tankersley McHan (Thomas),
Nick Tankersley (Brooke), and
Bobby Holladay (Whitney).
Thirteen Great Grandchildren
