Lenora Hopper Sasser, 98, of Decatur, died May 2, 2014. She is preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Jesse Sasser; her son, Donald Sasser; and her parents, Thomas J. and Matilda K. Hopper.
She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Linda K. Sasser; sister, Eugie H. Cooper of Huntsville; grandson, Donald A. Sasser (Jacqueline) of Huntsville; granddaughter, Courtney S. McCollum (Tim) of Decatur; great-grandsons, Mitchell, Griffin and Carter, all of Decatur, and James and Owen of Huntsville. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Lenora loved to cook, sew and garden.
Memorial gifts may be made to Hospice of North Alabama.
A private family service will be held. Burial will be in Faith Memorial Garden Park, Madison.
Roselawn Funeral Home is directing.
