Funeral services for Mr. Lenois ” Nig” Duke, age 75, are scheduled for 10 am Thursday, July 9,2015, at Union Baptist Church with burial to follow in Union Cemetery. Mr. Duke passed away Tuesday morning in Lexington. He was born in Henderson County to the late James and Vernie Ann Hays Duke. Mr. Duke was a member of Union Baptist Church and enjoyed antique cars, chainsaws, and anything with a engine. Survivors include wife of 57 years, Mrs. Bonnie Woods Duke, 5 daughters Brenda Epperson (Kenneth), Rhonda Maness (Anthony), Rena Bledsoe (Johnny), Redonna Loftin (Roger) and Sandy Duke. one brother Clois Duke, 3 sisters; Carlene Mays, Jean Johnson and Evelyn Middleton, 13 grandchildren; Amanda Lemmings, Melina Diebold, Jonathan Morris, Adam Beecham, Whitney Epperson, Matthew Morris, Jessica Maness, Mallory Lowery, Kylie Lampkins, Tyler Epperson, Jill Middleton, Nick Wall, and Emme Smith, also 14 great grandchildren.
