Miss Lennie Ellen Cater, age 74, passed away on Thursday, June 24, 2021 at Cullman Regional Medical Center.
Miss Cater was born on October 4, 1946, in Adams County, Mississippi to the late Marshall Jackson Cater and Maggie Mae Jackson Cater. She has been a resident of Arab for 30 years and a member of the Joppa Church of God. She loved her family and her church family and enjoyed spending time with both. She enjoyed watching T.V., fishing, and doing arts, crafts, and crocheting.
She will be forever remembered by her brothers, Marshall Ralph Cater (Gail), Darrell Cater (Carol), Jerry Kenneth Cater (Wanda) and Billy Ray Cater; sister Maggie Lee Rose; a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held on Monday – June 28, 2021 at the Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel at 11:00 a.m. with Bro. Jimmy Hamaker and Bro. Marshall R. Cater, officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service on Monday beginning at 10:00 am.
Interment will follow funeral service immediately at the Arab Memorial Cemetery.
