Lenita Gail Gray

Lenita Gail Gray, 60 of Huntsville passed away on June 1, 2022.

She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Dickie Gray; her children, Benjamin Gray, Jessica Green (Blake), Sarah Zeller (Preston); her grandchildren, Wiley Blake Green, Rylin Ann Green, Piper Grayce Green, Elijah David Zeller, Abel Grayson Zeller; her brothers, danny Buckner (Virginia), Milton Buckner, Doyle Buckner, Charles Buckner (Susan), Timothy Buckner (Connie), Bryon Buckner (Tammy), Randy Buckner (Mary); her sister, Nadine Maack (Paul); her sisters in law, Threase Tipton (David), Janice Ellett (Jerome), Donna Buckner; and a host of loving nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Gray was preceded in death by her son, Jeremy Thomas Gray; her parents, Thomas and Ruby Buckner; her brothers, James “Budd” Buckner and wife Caroline, Dwight Buckner, and twin baby brothers; her sisters, Linda Ann Buckner, Wilma Jean Buckner; sisters in law, Ruby Buckner, Linda Edwards and Diane Gray.

She was a member of the Huntsville Holiness Church. Mrs. Gray retired from Clearview Cancer Institute as a medical transcriptionist. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Visitation will be Saturday June 4, 2022 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Huntsville Holiness Church, 1505 Maysville Road, Huntsville, AL.  Services will be Sunday June 5, 2022 at 1:00 PM, at Huntsville Holiness Church, with Rev. Patrick Price, Rev. Matt Long, and Rev. Jamie Black officiating. Mrs. Gray will lie in state from 12:00 to 1:00 PM. Burial will be in Pleas Mount Cemetery, Gurley, AL.
