Lenford Lee “Street” Gray, 82, died Friday, March 6, 2015, at his home in the Carolina community. He was born March 28, 1932, in Monroe County to Carl and Audrey Johnson Gray. He was a member of Nettleton Church of Jesus Christ. He was a shade tree mechanic.
Services will be at 2 p. m. Monday, March 9, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Fulton with Bro. Scott Kitchens officiating. Burial will be in the New Chapel Cemetery.
Survivors include three sons, Terry Wayne Gray (Teresa) of Mooreville, Russell Gray of Nettleton, and Ricky Lee Gray (Joy) of Amory; three daughters, Robin Steele (Leon) of Becker, Rene Morgan (Patrick) of Marion, Ark., and Hannah Reed of Aberdeen; 17 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one son, Matthew Gray; an infant daughter; his wife, Wanda Gray; one brother, Bill Gray; and one sister, Hazel Williams.
Pallbearers will be Calvin Steele; Jordan Morgan; Logan Serrano; Ricky Lee Gray, Jr.; Douglas Gray; and Ricky Lee Gray. Nathan Caldwell will serve as an honorary pallbearer.
Visitation will be from noon until service time Monday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
