Lela Jean Justice Stegall, 85, passed away Monday, July 23, 2018, at the Courtyards Community Living Center in Fulton. She was born March 6, 1933, to Charles Madison and Evie Dennis Justice. She was a member of Southern Hills Church of Christ and enjoyed working in her flowers, going to yard sales, cooking, and taking care of her cat Fluffy.
Private services were held Tuesday, July 24, at McNeece-Morris Funeral Home in Fulton. Burial was in the Union Grove Cemetery at Tilden.
Survivors include two daughters, Dorothy Sue Stegall Morris (Gerald) and Betty Jean Stegall Gattis (Jimmy); two grandchildren, Amanda Nicole Morris and Alex Chase Gattis; and one sister, Ruby Riley, all of Fulton; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Robert Wayne Stegall, on February 3, 2018; her parents; three brothers, Roy Justice, Marshall Justice, and Basil Justice; three sisters, Fleater Justice, Odell Wilson, and Zerida Moore; and her in-laws, Henry Booker Stegall, Dymple Goddard Stegall, and Ruth Fielder Stegall.
