Lela Frances Taylor, age 95, of Spruce Pine (formerly of Grand Junction, MI) passed away on Sunday, January 12, 2020 at her sister’s house.
Mrs. Taylor was a loving grandmother.
The visitation will be 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 15, 2020 at Spry Memorial Chapel in Russellville. The funeral will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel with Bro. Nick McSpadden officiating. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 20, 2020 at Grand Junction Cemetery in Grand Junction, Michigan.
She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Palmer (husband, Ladair); grandchildren, Anna Stinson, Connie Shinault, Sheila Johnson, Teresa Wilkins, Johnny L. Palmer, Jr.; several great-grandchildren; sisters, Brenda Vandiver, Shirley Blankenship, Freida Hopper; and a host of nieces & nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Walter Taylor; daughters, Carol Sue Johnson, Reva Ann Moss; grandson, David Glen Johnson; parents, Rufus Gaines & Mary Frances Borden; and twelve brothers and sisters.
Spry Memorial Chapel assisted the family.
