Lee Roy Amerson age 70 of Decatur, passed away on Thursday, July 18, 2013 at Decatur USA Rehab. He was born November 3, 1942 in Limestone County to Augusta Amerson and Nancy Lewis Amerson.
Graveside services for Mr. Amerson are Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at Antioch Cemetery at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Burial will be in Antioch Cemetery.
He is survived by his daughter, Barbara Lynn Reece; sons, Gary Lee Amerson and Brian Keith Amerson; sisters, Nancy Ray, Augusta Webster, Emma L. Tucker, Margaret A. Tucker and Shirley Newton; brothers, George Amerson and James W. Amerson.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, John David Amerson, L.B. Amerson, Samuel A. Amerson; sisters, Dorothy M. Freeman and Mary Jane Amerson; son, Darin Keith Amerson.
