Lee Anne Horton, 55, departed this life to be with her Lord Jesus Christ on the morning of October 20th, 2019. She is survived by her mother, Rosalie Roberts; her brother, Wiley Horton (Eva); her niece, Eliza Baxter Horton; her nephews, Jackson Charles Horton and James English Horton; and many other friends and relatives. She was preceded in death by her father, Jackson Clyde Horton.
Lee graduated from Grissom High School in 1982, where she served as class treasurer. She graduated from the University of Alabama in 1988. Lee was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta sorority. She worked for many years in the health care field. She served on the board of the Huntsville Housing Authority. She was a long-standing member of Trinity United Methodist Church, where she served on many committees and taught Sunday School. She greatly enjoyed singing in the choir.
Lee will be remembered for her kindness and her loving spirit. She was a tireless and selfless help to her mother and her brother. She was much loved by her niece and nephews. She will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 3 p.m. Thursday, October 24 at Trinity United Methodist Church with the funeral immediately following at the church.
