LCSO Arrest Two In Elkmont On Drug Charges

ELKMONT-The Limestone County Sheriff’s Department issued a statement concerning the arrest of two people on several charges including drug charges and charges of counterfeiting:

“Early Sunday morning, June 11, 2023, Limestone County Deputies were called to the Budget Inn at 28555 Boyds Chapel Rd. in Elkmont, AL, on a report of Christopher James Shock pointing a firearm at people.
Upon arrival, Shock fled into a room occupied by Dustin Mae Williams. Deputies surrounded the room and began to call Shock out; he refused. After several minutes Williams opened the door and advised the deputies they had missed Shock as he had fled to Tennessee. Williams consented to a search of her room, and deputies could see drugs and a pistol in plain view.
Upon searching the room, Shock was located hiding under the bed with a rifle and possessed over 700 rounds of ammunition.
Dustin Mae Williams, 36, of Ardmore, TN, is charged with the following:
Hindering prosecution 1st degree

Possession of a controlled substance (meth)

Possession of marijuana 2nd degree

Dustin Mae Williams

Possession of drug paraphernalia
Williams has been released from the Limestone County Detention Center on a $7,000 bond.
Christopher James Shock, 35, of Elkmont, AL, was arrested on warrants for 40 counts of Possession of a Forged Instrument 1st Degree (counterfeit money) and was additionally charged with the following:
Possession of a controlled substance (meth)
Possession of marijuana 2nd degree
Possession of drug paraphernalia
Possession of a pistol by a felon
Resisting arrest
Shock is being held in the Limestone County Detention Facility with no bond.”
