LCSO Arrest Suspect On Charges Of Arson First Degree

LAUDERDALE COUNTY-On March 8, 2025, at the request of the Central Volunteer Fire Department, Lauderdale County Deputies and Investigators responded to a structure fire on County Road 5 in Lauderdale County.

Upon arrival, Deputies were informed by Firefighters that they witnessed a man later identified as Bradley

Christopher Harvey, at the scene of the fire and then he ran into the woods as they approached.

Later, Deputies saw a man matching the description provided near the tree line and approached him, and a foot pursuit ensued. Deputies apprehended Bradley Harvey and detained him for questioning. After speaking with eyewitnesses, Investigators learned that Bradley Harvey had threatened a family member earlier in the day that he would burn his house down.

After the investigation, Bradley Christopher Harvey was placed under arrest and charged with Arson First Degree, Attempting to Elude, and Resisting Arrest. Bradley Harvey is currently being held without bond at the Lauderdale County Detention Center pending an Aniah’s Law hearing.
