Layfette Downing, 50, died Friday, November 28, 2014. Funeral service will be Tuesday, 2 p.m. at Brindlee Mountain Chapel, Morgan City, with visitation two hours prior to the service. Burial will be in Valhermosa Springs Cemetery. Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel is directing.
