Lawrence Ray WaldropLawrence Ray Waldrop, age 75, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother entered into eternal rest surrounded by his family August 9, 2025.

The family will hold a celebration of his life on Friday, August 15, 2025, at 2:00 pm, Adams Brown Funeral Home directing with Brother Justin Joiner and Brother Joe Gore officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday from 11:30 am until time of the service. Burial will follow at Union Grove Cemetery.

Pallbearers: Lead Pallbearer Milford Waldrop, DJ Armstrong, Joe Filmore, Jerry Bryan, Jeremy Bryan, Shannon Waldrop, and Hayden Filmore.

Lawrence was preceded in death by his parents Hubert and Margie Waldrop, daughter Leslie Waldrop, and brothers Clarence and David Waldrop.

Lawrence loved to share the love of God with anyone he met. He was devoted to the Marshall County Inmate Ministry and enjoyed serving with the Kairos Ministry. Lawrence served his country in the Army. After his time in the military, he enjoyed a 42-year career with Mueller Company.

Left to treasure his memory are his wife, Betty Waldrop; his children Ellen (DJ) Armstrong, Christina Waldrop (Joe), Jerry (Diane) Bryan, Andrea Bryan; Grandchildren Christian Armstrong, Savannah Armstrong, Hayden Filmore, Kimberly (Matthew) Stewart, Jessica Rains, Jeremy (Sierra) Bryan; Great Grandchildren Josh Draskovic, Jett Stewart, and Lynnlee Bryan; Brother Milford (Nelda) Waldrop.
The family would like to thank the staff of Shepherd’s Cove Hospice for their compassion, comfort, and care.
