LAWRENCE COUNTY-Over the last several weeks, the Lawrence County VICE/Narcotics Unit conducted an investigation into complaints of ongoing illegal drug activity within Lawrence County. During the investigation, agents identified Ricky Hubbard as a source of supply for illegal narcotics within the East Lawrence community.

On May 28, 2026, agents executed a search warrant at a property commonly occupied by Hubbard and believed to be his residence. During the search, agents located a quantity of methamphetamine, controlled prescription pills, firearms, and drug paraphernalia.
Hubbard was taken into custody and transported to the Lawrence County Jail. He was charged with the following offenses:
• Trafficking Methamphetamine
• Possession of a Controlled Substance
• Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (Sales)
All individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
