LaWanda Simpson, age 71, Russellville, passed away on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at Russellville Hospital.
The visitation will be 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Friday, January 20, 2017 at Spry Memorial Chapel. The funeral will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 21, 2017 at Spry Memorial Chapel, with Bro. Melvin Mears and Bro. Jim Lumpkin officiating. Burial will be at King Cemetery in Lawrence County.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Olen Simpson; parents, Clamburs & Lillian Borden; and infant brother, Kenneth Borden.
She leaves to cherish her memory, siblings, Dorothy Eaton (husband, Jerry), Darice Brewer (husband, Cecil), L.H. Borden, R.C. Borden, Linda Borden, Faye Brewer (husband, Charles); cousin, Gertrude Borden and her children, Charles “Chuck” Borden, Merolyn Borden, Jerramie Borden, Scotty Borden, Amanda Pounders; and a host of nieces & nephews.
Spry Memorial Chapel assisted the family.
