Lavon Arvis Boyett, age 78, of Sardis, Mississippi passed away on Thursday, November 12, 2020. Lavon was born December 5, 1941 in Tutwiler, Mississippi.
Lavon is survived by daughter: Deborah (Jerry) Wages; sons: Edward Lavon Boyett, Raborn (Rachel) Mayo; sister: Patricia McNeer; mother of his children: Yvonne Thornburg; grandchildren: Katie (Greg) Cofield, Ashley (Dallas) Traylor, Megan (Jonathon) Rutledge, Walt (Melanie) Wages, Chase (Tina) Boyett, Cheyenne (Micah Crawford) Mayo, Caleb Boyett, Hannah Boyett; great grandchildren: Ben, Emily, Noah Cofield, Cannon, Huntley Traylor; and McKenzie, Sawyer, Paisley Boyett; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Lavon was preceded in death by his parents: Arvis and Martha Boyett; sisters: Hilda Betts, Faye Crawford, and Sharon Betts; and brothers: J.D. Boyett and Billy Wayne Boyett.
There will be a Celebration of Life Memorial Service at his home in Sardis, Mississippi to be annocunced later.
