Lavell Cox, 85, resident of Benton County, passed away Wednesday morning, November 13, 2019 at the Mississippi State Veterans Home in Oxford following a brief illness. Funeral Service honoring the life of Mr. Cox will be at 1 PM Saturday, November 16 in The Heritage Chapel of Ripley Funeral Home with his brother, Larry Cox officiating. Visitation will be fro 12 noon until 1 PM at The Ripley Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Ashland Church of Christ Cemetery.
