Funeral service for Lavada Mae “Sue” Carter, 72, will be Thursday, September 28, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Steve Barber officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Hartselle Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Wednesday, September 27, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.
Mrs. Carter died on Monday, September 25, 2023 at Huntsville Hospital. She was born January 7, 1951, in Morgan County, to William Hammond Freeman and Margie Lurline White Freeman.
She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, who loved her family with all of her heart. She enjoyed the outdoors, doing yard work and her puppies.
Preceding her in death were her parents and a sister: Judy Freeman. She will be missed by all who knew her.
