  Lauren Elizabeth CreekLauren Elizabeth Creek, age 36, resident of Ormond Beach, Florida, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 18, 2023 from a motorcycle accident.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, April 30th at 2:00pm at Heritage Funeral Home with Reverend James Lunsford officiating.  A burial will follow in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery, 3224 Quebeck Road, Quebeck, TN 38579.   The family will visit friends on Saturday, April 29th from 4:00-7:00pm at the funeral home.  Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Lauren was born August 9, 1986, in Nashville, Tennessee and was the daughter of William Byron McCormick and Sherri Lee Storey.  She graduated from Culleoka High School in 2002.  Lauren was a girl who was full of life and very athletic.  She married Jody Creek in 2015 and they lived in Savannah, Georgia for several years until moving to Ormond Beach, Florida.  She loved the beach and enjoyed swimming, which she was very good at.  She even taught swimming lessons at YMCA for a short time.  Her hobbies included bike riding, beaching, and being a fitness junkie!  Because of her determination and motivation personality traits, she was able to lose 80 pounds in a year.    Lauren was outgoing and her smile would light up any room she walked into.  Most of all, she loved her kids.  They were the joy in her life and she would do anything for them.  She will be missed by all who knew her.

Lauren is survived by her father, William Byron (Lisa) McCormick of McMinnville, TN; mother, Sherri (Tommy) Frady of Pulaski, TN; husband, Jody Creek of Ormond Beach, FL; son, Joshua Daniel Silva of Ormond Beach, FL; daughter, Evalee Elizabeth Silva of Ormond Beach, FL; brothers, BJ (Sarah) McCormick of Culleoka, TN and Christopher (Christina) McCormick of Cumming, GA; nephew, William McCormick, III; father and mother in law, Thomas and Margaret Creek of Savannah, GA; stepchildren, Caleb (Jada) Creek, Kody (Autumn) Creek, Brandon Creek, and Garrett Creek; step grandchildren
