Laura Stricklen Lindsey, 87, of Iuka, Mississippi, died Monday, June 23, 2014, at Tishomingo Community Living Center. She was a member of Unity Baptist Church. Visitation is scheduled for 12 until 2 PM on Wednesday, June 25 at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 PM on Wednesday, June 24, 2014, graveside, officiated by Bro. Ron Plymel. Interment will follow in Cypress Grove Cemetery. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. Survivors include 2 daughters – June Pruett (Jack) of Mobile, AL; and Debbie Murrah (Mike) of Iuka; 2 grandchildren – Angie Beasley (Tim) of Atlanta, GA and LeeAnn Murrah of Iuka; and 2 great grandchildren – Autumn and Christian Beasley. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Lindsey; her parents, Melvin Bryce and Alma Stricklen; and her sister, Wilma Gilliland. Memorial contributions may be made to the Iuka Baptist Church Music Department.
