Laura Nell Carter age 91 of Guin, AL passed away Tuesday, September 24, 2019 in the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, MS.
Born March 29, 1928 in Lamar County, AL she is the daughter of the late Bryant and Edna Simmons Markham and the Wife of the late Loyd Carter. She had lived in Lamar County most of her life and was a member of the Love Joy Free Will Baptist Church.
She is survived by a Daughter, Peggy Carter of Guin, AL, 2 Sons, Gary Carter of Warren, MI and Allan Carter of Hopkinsville, KY, 3 Grandchildren, 9 Great Grandchildren, and 4 Great Great Grandchildren, a Nephew, Joseph (Julie) Markham and a Great Niece, Hannah Markham of Loganville, GA.
Services held Friday, September 27, 2019 at 2:00 PM from the Norwood Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Love Joy Cemetery. Bro. Edward Puckett officiating.
Visitation Friday, September 27, 2019 from 1 – 2 pm at the funeral home.
