Laura Marion “Mary” Clark, age 63, of Hazel Green, Alabama, passed away peacefully on October 4, 2026, surrounded by her family and friends.
Mary was born on September 15, 1963, in Chattanooga, Tennessee, to Bill Shaw and Laura Shaw.
Mary cherished time spent with her family and took great pride in her children and grandchildren.
Mary is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Jerry Ray Clark; her children, Laura (Jason) Havner, Nina (Ryne) McLain, Jeremy (Ashlee) Clark, and Curtis (Auburn) Clark; her grandchildren, Ayden Joiner, Diesel Plaster, Blakeley and Ryleigh McLain, Oakley and Brynlee Clark, and Georgia Clark; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, William “Bill” Shaw and Laura “Pauline” Shaw; her sisters, Joanie Simon and Lisa Blatt; and her brother, Charlie Simon.
Visitation will be at Toney Holiness Church on Wednesday, October 7th from 5-8 and funeral Thursday, October 8th at 12pm with Brother Rodney Underwood and Brother Paul Stover officiating. Burial will follow at Golightly Cemetery.
Mary will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her memory will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends.
