Funeral services for Mrs. Laura Lou Sanders Vann, age 93, will be held at 1 PM on Monday, October 10, 2022 in the Shelton-Hunt Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 12 PM until service time.
Mrs. Vann, a retired worker at ITT and member of the Germantown Church of Christ, passed away on Thursday, October 6, 2022 at Baptist East Hospital in Memphis. Prior to living in Germantown, TN she was a longtime resident of the Sitka community and active member of the Sitka Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Watson Sanders and Louvenia Hopper Sanders; and husband of 55 years, Wesley Vann.
Mrs. Vann is survived by a daughter, Wanda Forsythe (Larry) of Jackson; a son, Timothy Vann (Marsha) of Germantown; five grandchildren, Heather Goslee (Jason), Adam Forsythe (Tiffini), Rachel Bowen (Chad), Abigail Chen (Jim) and Noah Vann (Megan); and four great grandchildren, Ashton Goslee, Addison Goslee, Reems Bowen and Cora Bowen.
The family requests memorials to the Germantown Church of Christ or the Sitka Church of Christ.
