Laura Kate Thomas Hall, age 84 of Tuscumbia, died Sunday, March 5, 2017. Visitation for family and friends will be Tuesday, 6-8 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. Her funeral service will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Danny Russell officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery, Tuscumbia.
Mrs. Hall was a homemaker and a member of Valdosta Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel B Hall, Jr., brother, Lawrence Buck Thomas, sisters, Lorene Ditmore and Louise Shinglebar.
She is survived by her son, Daniel B. Hall III and wife Angie of Tuscumbia, brothers, John Lewis Thomas of Barton, sister, LuGene Schisler of Tuscumbia, six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers are Steve Boatwright, Len Brown, Bobby Fountain, Tom Morgan, Ricky Sparks and Matthew Reed.
