Mrs. Laura Joyce King, of Brown Acre Road, Guntersville, Alabama, formerly of Albertville and Fyfee died Wednesday, March 25, 2015, at her residence.

Service will be Sunday, March 29, 2015; Two o’clock p.m. at McRae Chapel Bro. Mike Frost and Bro. Fred Wilks officiating. Interment will follow in the Cedar Hill Cemetery in Scottsboro. McRae Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be Saturday from 6 – 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. King was born in Scottsboro, Alabama on March 29, 1940 to Paul Joe & Lucille Harkey Dudley. She was a homemaker.

Mrs. King is survived by her Sons & Daughter-in-Law: Michael King and Brian & Judy King all of Albertville, Granddaughter: Brynne of Albertville, Brother & Sister-in-Law: Wendell & Reba Dudley of Rossville, Georgia, Step-mother: Sue Dudley of Scottsboro, Step-Sister: Della Hall, Sister-in-Law: Helen King of Dutton. She was preceded in death by her parents: Paul Joe & Lucille Dudley, Husband: Ray King and Sister: Pauline Wildman.

Pallbearers will be Wesley Harper, Jerome Meeks, Joel Echols, Ray Malone, Tim Hudgins and David Dudley.

The King family warmly appreciates the love and care received by her Chapel Hill Sunday school class.
