LAUDERDALE COUNTY-Alabama State Law requires that all dogs and cats three months of age or older to be vaccinated against Rabies. The fee is $12.00 (cash only) per animal at any stop on the notice. We will attempt to follow this schedule rain or shine. Please be patient if we run late. For all stops, please have your cats confined in a pet taxi or some type of box.. Leave all cats in the vehicle and the Veterinarian will come to your vehicle and give the vaccine. Dogs MUST be leashed or confined to a pet taxi, or left in you vehicle. Please bring water with your pets, so they remain hydrated. – Dr Whitney C. Terrell, DVM Rabies Inspector, Lauderdale County
