LaSonja Gail Gray, 45 of Rienzi, MS, passed away Wednesday, April 15, 2020, at Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth, MS. Due to the pandemic and for the safety of friends and family, the service will be a private family service Friday, April 17, 2020. Interment will follow at Christ Gospel Church Cemetery. Mrs. Gray was born February 25, 1975 in Iuka, MS to L.D. Hicks and Wanda Lambert Killough. She was a homemaker and was a member of Tobes Chapel Pentecostal Church. Sonja is survived by her husband, Daniel Gray; her daughters, Veronica Nunley (Alastar) of Burnsville, MS and Emily Reed of Rienzi, MS; 3 grandchildren, Cameron Nunley, Alexandira Nunley and Axl Nunley; her mother, Wanda Lambert Killough (Danny) of Rienzi, MS; her sister, Lisa Leatherwood (Eddie) of Corinth, MS; her brother, Jason Hicks (Missy) of Saltillo, MS; her step-brother, Eugene Killough of Rienzi, MS; her step-sisters, Wanda Hardin (Chris) of Rienzi, MS and Donna Oxner of Rienzi, MS; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her father, L.D. Hicks and her step-sister, Tammy Stevens. Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Sonja Gray.
