Larry Wayne Wilson, 70, passed away at home in Grant, Alabama on Monday November 20, 2023. Larry grew up in California and came to the University of Alabama on a swimming scholarship and called Alabama home ever since. Larry is the son of Raymond and Lorna Wilson (Deceased). He is survived by his wife, Karen M. Wilson, and daughters Randi Wilson and Emily Todd (Julian Todd), and five grandchildren, Eden, Asha, Zoe, Bubba and Julianna. He is also survived by three siblings; Carolyn Naber, P. Douglas Wilson and Pamela Hoefflin.
He was known for his love of the Lord, and faithfully served Him in various ways throughout his life. He was an extraordinary craftsman, loved hunting and fishing, but also loved giving his famous Paw Paw hugs. Larry worked as a Project Management Professional and enjoyed being a part of his work team. His family and friends will miss him greatly.
He was laid to rest in Maple Hill Cemetery in Huntsville, Alabama. If anyone wishes to make a donation, Larry’s wish was to make them to Lincoln Village Ministry, 110 Meridian Street N, Huntsville, Alabama
