Larry Wayne Love, 72, a resident of Culleoka, died Monday, August 25, 2025 at his residence.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, August 29, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Reverend Mike Roberts officiating. Burial will follow in Lynnwood Cemetery in Lynnville with military honors provided by Herbert Griffin American Legion Post 19. The family will visit with friends Thursday from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home. Online condolences may be extended at www.oakesandnichols.com.
Larry was born on October 2, 1952 in Williamson County, Tennessee to the late LeRoy Love and the late Alma Loyd Love. He served in the United States Army during Vietnam and worked for Essex as a machine operator for several years. Larry enjoyed farming, hunting, racing dirt track cars and smoking different types of meats to be enjoyed by his family and friends. He was a long time member of Parkway Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife of 26 years, Kimberly Underwood Love of Culleoka; son, Michael Dodson; step son, William Jason (Justine) Smith of Warner Robbins, Georgia; two brothers, Jim (Karen) Love, Paul (Kaye) Love; sister, Pat Graves; five grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; brother in law and sisters in law, Karen Weber, Kristen (Scott) Neu, and Karla (Trina) Underwood.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter Becky Dodson.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
