Larry Wayne Kenney, 73 of Joppa passed away Monday, May 25, 2026, at his residence. He was born June 17, 1952, in Arab the son of Harvey Kenney and Auzie Light Kenney. He was a retired mechanic from Whitaker Construction.
He is survived by his children: Shannon Kenney (Melissa), Steven Kenney (Tyshan) and Amanda Boeckeler (Daniel); grandchildren: Robert Elscott, Kylie Kenney, Chloe Kenney, Emma Kenney, Millie Kenney, Samantha Yeager, Justin Jones, Noah Boeckeler, Isaiah Boeckeler, Autumn Boeckeler and Elijah Boeckeler; great grandchildren: Harper Nicole Elscott, Kayden Alexandria Yeager, Eden Caroline Boeckeler and Olivia Adams; host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by a grandson: Jake Kenney; wife: Diane Kenney; parents: Harvey and Auzie Kenney; siblings: Marlon Kenney, Allen Kenney, Joyce Baker, Sandra Watson, Thana Lou Morgan and Louise Kenney.
In accordance with his wishes, the family chose cremation and with no formal service. Gober Funeral Chapel assisted the Kenney family with the cremation arrangements.
