Larry Wade Thomason entered his eternal life when he passed away peacefully at his home in Huntsville, Alabama, on May 4, 2025. Born in Albertville, Alabama, on January 30, 1944, Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Glenn and Lois Evans, and his sister, Chella Marie Thomason.
He is survived by his brother, Phillip Thomason (Janet); his sister, Vicki Evans Hough; nephews, Wesley Williams (Jennifer) and Brandon Evans Hough; niece, Amy Riley (Wes); and numerous great-nieces and nephews.
Larry worked at Parker Hannifin and was associated with Redstone Arsenal until his retirement. He will be remembered for his love of family, his sweet spirit, and his contagious laughter. A devoted Auburn sports fan, Larry had the joy of visiting Auburn in December with his sister and was surprised to see how much “The Plains” and Auburn University had grown and changed since his last visit.
Interment will take place at Memory Hill Cemetery, alongside his parents and sister.
